BioSteel Team Sponsorship Program Terms and Conditions

Agreement to Terms: By submitting the form, you agree to these terms and conditions.

1. Program Overview: These terms and conditions govern the relationship between BioSteel Canada ("we" or "merchant") and team representatives ("you" or "representative") who refer customers to our products or services through the BioSteel Sponsorship Program.

2. Eligibility:

   • You must be 18 years or older to apply for your own account.
   • For minors, your account must be managed and operated by your parents/guardians. [Have your parents email us at sponsorships@biosteel.com confirming their management of your account.]
   • Necessary accounts must be created via PayPal to receive payment.

3. Registration Approval:

   • BioSteel reserves the right to approve or reject any sponsorship program registration at our sole discretion.
   • We also reserve the right to reject anyone who does not meet our team sponsorship criteria.

4. Representative Links and Discount Codes:

   • Upon approval, representatives can create their own 20% discount code and unique link.
   • Sales made via the discount code will earn a 20% commission.

5. Receipt Upload and Cashback:

   • Representatives can upload receipts/proof of purchase of BioSteel products (excluding taxes) to earn 10% cashback on purchases made at participating retailers.
   • Each receipt can be used to earn cashback only once.
   • BioSteel reserves the right to reject any cashback if fraud is suspected.
   • If program abuse or fraud is detected, BioSteel reserves the right to disable and permanently ban accounts.

6. Commissions and Payments:

   • Commissions: 20% on sales made via your discount code.
   • Cashback: 10% on purchases made at participating retailers when uploading receipts.
   • To receive commissions, representatives must have a PayPal account as specified in the payment settings of their account.

7. Marketing Tools:

   • Promotional media such as banners, logos, and specific collection promotions will be provided through the Marketing Tools tab.

8. Tracking and Cookies:

   • Our system uses cookies to track individuals who click on your team representative link.
   • Cookies remain active for 30 days, ensuring commissions for purchases made by users who initially visited our site through your link.

9. Monthly Winner:

   • Each month, the top-performing team will receive double their commissions earned.
   • Prizes are subject to change at any time without notice.

10. Ethical Promotion:

    • Representatives must engage in ethical promotion. Non-ethical practices such as manipulative SEO marketing or excessive advertising may result in disqualification.
    • Disqualified representatives must re-register to participate again.

11. Content Sharing:

    • By sharing pictures or videos with us or on social media, you grant BioSteel the right to republish your content on our social media accounts.
    • You agree to send photos of your team to BioSteel upon receiving your gift. By signing up for this program, you agree to allow us to use the photos and content you provide.

12. Tax Responsibility:

    • Representatives are responsible for handling their own tax obligations. BioSteel is not liable for any tax-related responsibilities.

13. Team Sponsorship BioSteel Starter Kit:

    • As a "thank you" for your participation, you are eligible to receive The Team Sponsorship BioSteel Starter Kit for free when you:
      • Are a member of the Team Sponsorship Program and
      • Make at least 1 sale through your unique URL or discount code.
    • This offer is subject to the following terms:
      • The kit will be shipped to you at no cost.
      • This offer is limited to one kit, inclusive of 20 BioSteel Water Bottles, 3 BioSteel Sport Towels, and 100 Hydration Mix Sticks (varying flavours) per representative.
      • BioSteel reserves the right to modify or cancel this offer at any time without prior notice.

14. Program Abuse and Fraud:

    • BioSteel reserves the right to disable and permanently ban accounts if program abuse or fraud is detected.
    • Discount codes found on discount code sites will be automatically disabled, and the representative will be notified. Representatives will have 30 days to create a new discount code. If a new code is not created within this period, the representative's account will be paused.
    • Discount codes may be disabled during sales with applied discounts, but commissions can still be earned via unique links/URLs.

15. Removal from Sponsorship Program:

    • To be removed from the Sponsorship Program, contact us at sponsorships@biosteel.com.

16. Support:

17. Changes to the Program:

    • BioSteel Sports Inc. reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue the Sponsorship Program at any time, at its sole discretion. Changes may be made with or without prior notice to representatives. In some cases, notifications may be provided regarding significant changes to the Program.
